Data Gateways
Data gateways are devices connected to your WiFi network. When any of our data loggers are in proximity of our gateway devices they connect with each other using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and the data loggers then send the data to the servers. The data then becomes available on a Web portal for further analytics and reporting.
Data Gateway (Wifi)
Our data gateways have a small and compact design and interchangeable AC plug to fit the most common power sockets worldwide. An IoT gateway device bridges the gap of communication that exists between IoT devices and the cloud. It connects with our data loggers in the field and serves as a gateway to collect the data from the devices and send it to the servers for processing. The gateway device is easy to configure using your WiFi network and you can put as many gateways as you need to cover your area. Typically the range of Bluetooth BLE to communicate with our data logger devices is about 50m but since walls and other factors can affect the range, we suggest testing your range and adding more gateways if many rooms must be covered.
100-240V AC, 50/60 Hz
5V Micro USB
ETL/FCC/CE/UKCA certified
Data Gateway (GSM SIM card)
Sometimes there is no WiFi network available of the gateway device is setup on something that is moving (e.g. a truck) and therefore it needs an alternative way to connect to the Internet.Using a GSM SIM card becomes a convenient way to be conneced on the go, no matter whwere the gateway device is.
Extend range with a Mesh
A mesh network (also called meshnet) is a setup in which each gateway devices connect directly, dynamically, and non-hierarchically, to other gateways and cooperate with one another to efficiently relay data until it find a gateway that has an internet connection and is able to send the data to the server.
This lack of dependency on one gateway device allows for every gateway to participate in the relay of information. Mesh networks dynamically self-organize and self-configure hich enables a dynamic distribution of workloads, particularly in the event a few nodes should fail.
Data Gateway (Solar Panel)
The gateway devices need power to operate. In outdoor scenarios, there might now be any power source available (e.g. in a field or a vineyard). Our gateway devices can be connected to solar panels to operate, making it a highly flexible solution for outdoor and remote projects, where power srouces are hard to reach.
Web Portal & Dashboard
Our Web Portal allows clients to manage their data logger devices and the data they collected in order to receive actionable insights about what happened and alerts of breached thresholds. Within our user friendly Web interface, users can securely monitor their devices, see graphs and statistics to visualise their data, and extract reports in .csv format for deeper analysis using their own tools. You are ready to view actionable metrics from the data collected from the data loggers and take meaningful action for your business based on the insight provided. You will be able to modify parameters of the devices remotely in order to fine tune the data points recorded, the metrics, their frequency, and their precision.
Data Insight & Actionable Metrics
We provide actionable metrics via our Web Portal, historical graphs, and instant reporting tools, which allow you to collect and visualize data received from the data loggers and take meaningful action for your business based on the insight provided. It also allows you to modify parameters of the devices remotely in order to fine tune the data points recorded, the metrics, their frequency, and their precision.
Heatmaps
We have created unique heatmaps on environmental conditions and equipment usage for users to easily visualize on their dashboard. Heatmaps can be top view or side view and give very valuable insight into temperature, Humidity and VPD spread as well as air flow on any surface of any size.
Device Management
The Web Portal allows clients to manage their devices remotely and configure the parameters of their devices. They can create tags, short descritpion, monitor battery levels, configure the metrics and data points to record as well as the frequency and precision of the recordings.
Reporting (.csv files)
Through the Web interface, users can see various graphs and statistics to visualise the data recorded by their devices. They can then extract reports in .csv format for deeper analysis using their own tools (Google Sheets, MS Excel, Open Office Calc and more…)
Snapshot Insight (with NFC)
Management teams have the ability to use snapshot reports for specific devices or groups of devices that give them an overview on the current day, past 7 days or past month in easy to read graphs. The report cards have an NFC chip linked to the report. Users simply tap the report card on their mobile phone to access the snapshot reports. This is ideal for a quick monitoring of specific devices on the go from their mobile phone, without having to login to the web portal from a computer.

Turn any box into a smart box
You can easily turn any simple box into a smart box. Just place one of our data loggers inside of a simple box and that box immediately becomes a smart box, recording all the metrics you have configured e.g. temperature, humidity, motion (any movement, acceleration, deceleration, vibration etc…), drop (dropped from height), kick (violent shock), tilt (was the box upside down?) and many more…
This is ideal to monitor the transportation of goods by sea or even by air cargo, as many of our devices are 100% compatible with IATA regulations (section II, PI 970) about Lithium batteries (CR 2032). The data collected can then be viewed in the Logger360 platform via our data analytics dashboard and various reporting tools.
Vertical Farming
One of our clients grows quality specialty produce such as microgreens, herbs, and edible flowers in an indoor facility to provide chefs with delicious, nutritious, and low-carbon footprint produce. We installed our small data loggers on large trays of herbs and microgreens to monitor the temperature and humidity and provide a heatmap of the trays giving our client data insight to improve their understanding of air flow in each area and take appropriate actions based on factual data.
Storage Monitoring
To monitor a storage room or warehouse simply place data loggers in areas you want to capture data from and start monitoring what is happening inside, temperature, humidity etc… It’s that simple. A plug and play solution, ideal for keeping an eye on conditions in a room, especially when sensitive products are stored. We have wine merchants using our devices to make sure the temperature and humidy is always withing range.
Transport & Logistics
Our data loggers can record temperature and humidity of a palette during its entire journey being transported across the globe by either air cargo (data loggers 100% compatible with IATA regulations section II, PI 970 about Lithium batteries CR 2032), or by sea or land. Our devices work both online and offline in a concept of a black box. They can tell everything that happened to them as historical data. They can work offline in areas with no internet and electricity (tunnels, containers, trucks). Our devices will keep recording independently their surrounding events and parameters such as Temperature, Humidity, Movements (move, drop, tilt, shake, kick) etc…
Theft Detection
We cannot prevent theft, but we can pin point the moment of theft. This is done by placing one of our devices on a palette containing the boxes, as well as a tiny data logger devices in the boxes. The devices in the boxes are acting as beacons, while the device on the palette acts as a beacon recorder. In other words the main palette device will know there are 10 boxes and record that. If one box is stolen, then the main palette device will record 9 devices only. Upon arrival, when the data gets collected, we will be able to pinpoint in time when the devices went from 10 to 9. Based on that time, you are able to know where the theft happened. While we are not preventing the theft as such, we are helping detect it with more precision in time. The advantage of our solution is that we record offline, so there is no need to have gateway devices along the route to be able to record the data, it will be done offline and even in remote or isolated areas such as inside of a container. The data history is collected later on the next checkpoint where a connected gatewaye device is installed (e.g. a warehouse).
Equipment Usage
Logger360 data loggers are a powerful and cost-effective solution to record data about temperature, humidity and vibrations, for an efficient monitoring of equipment usage (air conditioning units in particular). Our solution helps identify excessive usage, better manage the timings of AC units power on/off, and optimize positioning, which leads to reduced (or better managed) power consumption, significant money saving, as well as reduced carbon footprint.Anything with an engine that produces vibration can be monitored easily with our data logger solution. We have clients monitoring usage of forklifts for example, as very little data insight is available and monitoring their usage helps optimise the rotation of equipment as well as the maintenance needs.
Maintenance Monitoring
Monitoring the work of maintenance teams is sometimes difficult, especially when performed in remote areas, where there is often very little visibility on the work actually done.By applying data loggers on gear such as helmets, as well as key areas, vehicules and equipment, allows better data insight about the interactions tha happened and when they happened.
Indoor Tracking
Using our location detection solution, we are able to monitor indoor areas, for example certain zones in a warehouse. By placing beacons strategically and monitoring the interactions between our data loggers and the beacons, we are able to provide data insight on the location of a data logger and even provide a timeline and heatmap of where the data loggers were in a specific indoor area.Data loggers can be placed on staff (data logger badges), equipment (for example forklifts) or objects (boxes), and we can then tell where the data loggers have been inside the warehouse. We can aslo tell where a data logger currently is. This is also useful to detect goods location in a large indoor environment, or detect patterns for better space management (detect unused spaces vs busy spaces).
